We here at the Sherwood in Edinburgh realise that everyone's definition of budget accommodation is different. For some it will mean the least amount of money, but for most it will hopefully mean a good combination of price and quality. We offer 4 stars quality, awards from both visitscotland.com and the AA, at the most reasonable ( or if you prefer cheap )rates in Edinburgh. You can probably find accommodation a bit cheaper, and you can always check into one of Edinburgh's many 4 and 5 stars hotels to find a bit better quality, but you are checking for budget accommodation in Edinburgh, and we are positive we fit that definition perfectly with our balance of quality and price. We had checked google for some Edinburgh budget accommodation ( we had family doing a last minute visit and we were completely full and all the kids were at home ) and were amazed, and horrified, at the prices some places thought of as qualifing as budget. Hopefully our budget Edinburgh accommodation measures up on all fronts. There is however ample free on-street parking close to our accommodation. From our the Sherwood it is only a fifteen minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street which is Scotland's premier shopping street.
